The Wits Trio will perform three extraordinary works by Mozart, Babajanian and Brahms at the St Francis of Assisi  Anglican Church in Tyrone Avenue, Parkview, Johannesburg.

The programme to be performed:

Piano trio in E major, KV 542 by W.A. Mozart

Piano trio in f-sharp minor by Arno Babajanian

Piano Trio in C major, Opus 87 by J. Brahms

Wits Trio has been in existence since 2012 and the members are Zanta Hofmeyr (violin), Susan Mouton (cello) and Malcolm Nay (piano). They are based in Johannesburg and became well-known for their interpretations of Schubert, Brahms, Mendelssohn and Beethoven trios at the Grahamstown National Arts Festival and their performances throughout South Africa.
