Zanta Hofmeyr and Miro Chakaryan will perform a brand new programme of virtuoso duos for two violins. They won the award for best classical music production at the 2018 Aardklop festival and in January 2019 they won the Fiësta award for the best performance of classical music at arts festivals in South Africa during 2018. This time their programme comprises works by Leclair, Halvorsen, Pantcheff and Louis Spohr. This performance marks the premiere of a new work by the British composer, Richard Pantcheff who dedicated his work 'Introduction and Allegro No. 2 for two solo violins' to Zanta and Miro. The other major work in the programme is the Duo Concertante by Louis Spohr. This concert is a must for classical music-lovers in Johannesburg.
